A typical problem:
I have both Microsoft Office Publisher 2007 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer on my computer. Which one out the two would make a better website. After I create a website, how can I publish it on the web. Please no harsh comments.

- offers unlimited bandwidth,
- gives multiple add-on domains,
- has easy-to-use Site Builder with thousands of unique templates,
- has QuickInstall to quickly install apps like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, OSCommerce, ZenCart and more
- can be easily upgraded to VPS or one of the best dedicated server plans if and when your business require.

Hostgator Complaints
No web hosting service is perfect. Some complaints about Hostgator plans include:
- No free domain name included – but you can easily get a domain name from the best domain registrar such as Godaddy or Namecheap for $10 or less. Would you agree that a website is not complete without a domain name?
- You need to pay full price after your first invoice – well, they need to make money too and all the support and great service do come with a cost. It is like they say, you get what you pay for.

You can use either of the two. Your choice will depend on the features you would need to create your site. You may choose the one that you’re good at so that you can maximize its features.
After selecting the best one, you should follow these steps:
1. Purchase web hosting. Choose from the recommended web hosts at http://buywebspacetoday.com/ — these are established companies who offer quality web hosting for affordable prices.
2. Download and install an FTP program. Filezilla which you can download at http://filezilla.brothersoft.com/ is one of the best. This program will allow you to upload files to your web hosting account.
3. Upload your website via FTP. This is as simple as dragging and dropping from your computer. See your FTP program’s manual for complete instructions

Why would you use Publisher?? That’s a desktop publishing program not a website designer. SharePoint Designer is what you would use although, if you don’t know the difference between Publisher and SharePoint Designer you might want to take a class or two.

Hi there,
Actually it depends on what is the purpose of your website. If you plan on setting up a website to sell products or services online, you could save time by using any of these popular web-hosted shopping cart providers :
http://www.volusion.com
http://www.instantestore.com
http://www.bigcommerce.com
If you only plan to have a website created for information purposes, you could use some of the free web designing software that are available as that would also be faster to have it set up. Here are a few suggestions :

http://www.serif.com
Hope this helps.

I honestly don’t suggest either one of these programs. Go the better route and use something like WordPress or Joomla. You can find a nice wordpress tutorial below in the source.
