Question about affordable website hosting: I was going to get a site under Go daddy but I read all the ridiculous things Go daddy.com has done to people ( And I believe it just because big corporations tend to lack customer support) and I read a bunch of BAD!! stories on NoDaddy.com ( I know you cant believe everything someone says but I dont want to take chances)
Then I checked for the best servers on some website’s and they were all giving me these websites that didnt look that professional. I want a trustworthy web host that doesnt trick/mess with me because of laziness or Greed. And a website that has an affordable price.
Any suggestions?

I feel your pain. I run a web directory, and uptime was an important factor for me. For as many hosts out there, you will find an equal number of good and bad stories.
I was recommended to hostdime.com to keep my directory on. They’ve been up for a few years, support is pretty good in getting back to you (within 8 hours), are pretty reasonable price wise, and aside from a couple issues I had with cpanel crashing in the beginning, they’ve been all I can ask for.
I’m not in the habit of endorsing anything lol, but you can at least look at them and see if they will fit your needs.
Otherwise, there are a ton of hosting review sites that can help you determine what host would be best for you.
Good luck!

I host with GoDaddy and HostGator.
I personally think HostGator.com is the best web host.
I mean who else wouldn’t…24/7 live support.
When I mean 24/7 it’s really 24/7..I remember one night (3 a.m) I was having problems with my site…I contacted the live support and they responded.
Great staff, Great Support, Great Host.

Well, if you’re willing to shell out 5.95 a month, Dreamhost is a good one. You can get a $50 discount using the code BIRID91 . I’ve hosted with them for about 3 years now, and while they may seem bad from their status page, I’ve never had any real issues with them.
