If you want the absolute best host for both experienced and non-experienced web masters, hostmonster.com is for you. HostMonster is rated #1 in a lot of top 10 lists. I used them for my first 2 websites and I’m still using them for my 3rd website. They have every tool imaginable and free advertisement dollars for you with google and yahoo. It’s only 6 dollars a month too. The only downside is that you have to pay for the whole year at once. If you need help getting started after making a hostmonster account, email me. I was a little confused when I first started out too. Oh, and since you mentioned the final price, it was 71.43$ for me for one year and a domain name. Not bad in my opinion. I’ll explain the $3.50 part first. These sites that you are looking at quote their prices so low so that they can get your attention. If you look at their site properly (don’t be in a hurry when you do things like signing up for web hosting. You should read everything carefully.), you’ll see that the $3.50/month price is valid only if you sign up for 2 or 3 years in advance. Which means you’ll be paying around $3.50 x 24 months or 36 months. If you pay for a lesser duration like an year, you’ll have to pay a slightly higher fee per month.. like $4.5 or something and if you decide to pay monthly, you might be paying $7 or $8. Does that make sense? It is a common pricing plan for a whole lot of web hosts, so I don’t really find anything wrong with that. But even if you have to pay more, never opt for more than an year. 6 months is better still, if there is such an option.
Starting your own website for your small business can be a great thing. I assume you have never created and hosted a website before. You can register a domain name, buy a web hosting plan and create your site online using site builders that are provided with the web hosting plans. You can create a very professional looking website that way, all for much less than $10 a month. Apart from the initial investment in a domain name which would again cost between $7-$12 for one year.

The best way to make a website in my opinion, is to create a real website, not a free one. A
free one will never get much traffic or become popular, so you are basically wasting time.
Plus its very cheap to get a good web host and you get tons of goodies for very little.The best web host for you? The one that give you the most for the least. All the hosts have unadvertised specials, coupons, etc which makes it difficult to choose based on price. I have had good luck with Justhost.
