A frequently-asked problem:
I am looking to build a few websites. I have a membership to a site with many templates I can download. I have photoshop and know how to use it.
However, I have never created a website coding myself, so I am looking for a easy to use website builder where I can insert the edited templates, and I have to do little or no coding myself.
Preferably compatible with Mac, but if it is Windows only I can use my windows desktop.
And if it is an online website creator, I do not want one that has any ads. Also, If I need to purchase web hosting, which I probably will, what are the best/most affordable sites I can look into?
Thank You
Answer: It is not your fault you are confused. Finding a web host should not be so complicated. Web hosting is the heart of your web presence and can mean the life or death to your business.
Before we give you an absolute answer, these are seven qualities to look for in a good web hosting. An excellent hosting:
- lets you try their service for free or at very low price,
- gives more-than-enough webspace,
- offers unlimited bandwidth,
- gives multiple add-on domains,
- has easy-to-use Site Builder with thousands of unique templates,
- has QuickInstall to quickly install apps like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, OSCommerce, ZenCart and more
- can be easily upgraded to VPS or one of the best dedicated server plans if and when your business require.
To answer your question, why not try Hostgator. If you are building your first website and needs a hosting plan, experts usually highly recommend going with Hostgator because they are the best best domain hosting around.
With more than 4 million websites hosted, a “Hostgator sucks” comment cannot be avoided. See the drawbacks of Hostgator in the section below. Objectively, HG has an amazingly long, 45 days money back guarantee so you have ample time to test them out. They are rated A+ by Better Business Bureau which shows their commitment to customer satisfaction. You also do not have to pay for the first month. You can just try their fully functional hosting service – you pay only $0.01 (you need to use the special coupon code). Do you know any other hosting company that can give you that kind of assurance? Hostgator Complaints
No web hosting service is perfect. Some complaints about Hostgator plans include:
- No free domain name included – but you can easily get a domain name from the best domain registrar such as Godaddy or Namecheap for $10 or less. Would you agree that a website is not complete without a domain name?
- You need to pay full price after your first invoice – well, they need to make money too and all the support and great service do come with a cost. It is like they say, you get what you pay for.
If you are still not sure if HG is right for you, or you have specific query about anything at all, try the Live Chat at HG. They are fast and knowledgeable. Just ask and you shall receive.

There are many easy to use website builder and you need not know any coding at all to use those. WordPress, Joomla, drupal, etc are very to easy web site builders and you can make great web sites from them and most importantly they are free. Also most of the paid web hosting offers What you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) site builders which are very to easy to use. Besides in internet you have great tutorials and help regarding use of above website builders.
The cpanel of the most of the web host offers softaculous and fantastico script installers through which you can install and use wordpress, drupal, joomla, etc. Whichever paid web hosting you choose make sure that their cpanel has softaculous and/or Fantastico.
Some of the good web hosts are – Hostgator, bluehost, inmotion, 1&1, etc

Why don’t you start learning Dreamweaver since you already know how to design in Photoshop. If you already have your templates, its easy to tweak it on Dreamweaver. And you’ll have full control on your codes.
On the other hand, you can try Weebly.com. Its simple, easy-to-use and intuitive online site builder.
It allows you to create pages with only a few clicks by dragging and dropping different page elements (images, text, video, audio, or interactive content, etc.) onto a page and filling in the content.
It also allows you to add your own customized HTML & CSS code which gives you full design flexibility.

There are many resources you can try online. You can start with the W3C tutorials. They are quite helpful. You can try a few FREE templates to check on how to modify it. Simple steps will give you some idea on how HTML functions.
Regarding web hosting, I learned gradually after registering a web hosting plan for trails. It helped me to expedite the process of learning. I also read web hosting reviews and tutorials like the one here, http://www.webhostingbreak.com/tutorials/. I learned about email forwarding, nameserver etc. So, try them and maybe in about a month of so, you’ll see changes in your learning curve…:)

HostGator is relatively cheap (you coupon code IPREFERQUALITYWEBHOSTING to get 25% off) but fast. My site, as an example, shares a server with only 30 other websites. Mind you, I pay about $3.71 per month via a 3-year contract. My previous host, WebHostingPad, charged 1/3 of this price, but my site shared a server with like 300 websites.
BE SMART! GO THE GATOR WAY!

If you don’t have previous experience it is difficult to build a good looking or professional website by using a website builder. There are a lots of web hosting company offers to build web site with web hosting. hostingpromotion.com is one of them. You can also find by searching in google.
Today’s environment has its challenges, and the web hosting industry is no exception. It’s become one of the chief services available online for anyone wishing to launch their own successful website. If you are one of these people who are wanting to start up your own business web page, you need to get familiar with some of the basic principles involved in cheap web hosting. Before you can successfully launch a new website, you will have need of a good web host for placing your site onto the web. This way others will be able to see it and to download things from your site to their own.
Even before you begin working on you layout and start creating all the things you want you site to contain, you need to find your web host. Most people who are just starting out, since they’ve made no money yet from a website, are operating on a pretty low budget. This makes ‘cheap’ web hosting a very attractive proposition. You web host will be responsible for image loading, uploading capabilities, downloading capabilities, and many other necessities of running a website. With you taking the role of ‘client’, your only responsibility should be to pay for your service each month.
There are charges associated with most all web hosting companies, although you can find some for free. They free ones just aren’t very effective. They’ll give you free hosting, but you must let them advertise on your site. You don’t have much control over your website. Most hosting services will have various packages you can get to suit the specific needs of your site and what you need to do to make it effective. Different sites have different requirements. You may start off with one package, and then down the road upgrade to another one because your site has grown and you have the need for newer services. Another thing your hosting service will do is work with you to develop a specific package for just what your site needs at this time.

WordPress is I think the easiest and most user friendly. Also, most Domain registrars offer hosting options as well, so when you purchase your domain names look into hosting options.
e.g. GoDaddy, enom,…
