Someone who actually builds web pages, and not just a WYSIWYG site. It creates unneccessary code and doesn’t give you any SEO rankings…
Wix.com is pretty good, and has some creative templates and online stores, not the usual bland stuff.
Don’t use a Flash template (use html 5 instead) since you can’t see flash easily on smartphones. It;s free for a basic site with ads, but for about a hundred bucks a year, you can get them removed, add a multi product store and cart integrated to paypal. Lot of good features and you can get up and running pretty quick.

Urrmm, Andrew thats not exactly 100% true. We all know that WYSIWYG editors are for the content of the webpage. All it dose it convert code into visual. The SEO side comes from titles and pages keywords and shiz. Which are (if coded correctly) dynamic depending on the input the user has put for various fields. WordPress is a great example in how WYSIWYG editors don’t mean SEO is shit.
To answer the small business question, you could always hire a programmer for next to nothing now days, thanks to the freelancer.com website.
Or you could use online builders such as webs.com
Now for a business you 100% need a domain name preferable a .com and a easy short name to remember.. people like to say have a domain using no more then 2 words to describe who you are and/or what you do.
