A typical query:
Hi, thanks for looking at my question.
I’ve been through 3 hosting sites already and I’ve come to realize that I need help. I have been taking web design classes and have a site made, but the hosting sites I have tried have been disappointing. I tried FatCow, SuperGreen and JustHostIt. Freewebs is currently hosting the site, but upgrading to a paid account there is more expensive than I’d like.
Anyway, I don’t want a WYSIWYG site-builder or for my host to advertise for me as I know how to do that on my own, I have a domain name already as well. I would like e-mail, I don’t need endless bandwidth as the site is for a club, but we will be posting movies, photos, and podcasts. I would like a host that allows for a forum to be created, but can always use a third-party site.
Anyone know a good one?
Thank you!
I will not use GoDaddy for its affiliation with pedophile websites.
FatCow- Live Chat handled problems very slowly and treated me like an idiot. I told them i had a CSS codes splash page and they told me to upload the flash file… five times as I tried to tell them there was no flash file, just 3 pictures arranged using CSS.
SuperGreen- Took a long time to get e-mails answered and questions about why my file manager was not letting me display my website were met by giving me a link to a useless video tutorial.
Freewebs- High price without the features to support that price. They are great for people starting out and making casual sites, but once you want your own domain the price is not the best deal.
Answer: Warning! Using unreliable cheap hosting can leave you devastated when your hard work disappear without warning. Web hosting is one of the most important part of your web presence and can mean the success and failure for your business.
Before we give you an absolute answer, these are seven qualities to look for in a good web hosting. An excellent hosting:
- has excellent support and rated at least A+ by Better Business Bureau (BBB),
- gives unlimited storage,
- offers no limit on bandwidth,
- gives multiple add-on domains,
- has easy-to-use Site Builder with thousands of unique templates,
- has QuickInstall to quickly install apps like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, OSCommerce, ZenCart and more
- can be easily upgraded to VPS or one of the best dedicated server plans if and when your business require.
To answer your question, why not try Hostgator. If you need an “unlimited” hosting plan, experts usually highly recommend going with Hostgator because they are the best hosting and domain registrar around.

Hostgator Complaints
No web hosting service is perfect. Some complaints about Hostgator plans include:
- No free domain name included – but you can easily get a domain name from the best domain registrar such as Godaddy or Namecheap for $10 or less. Would you agree that a website is not complete without a domain name?
- You need to pay full price after your first invoice – well, they need to make money too and all the support and great service do come with a cost. It is like they say, you get what you pay for.
If you are still not sure if HG is right for you, or you have specific query about anything at all, try the Live Chat at HG. They are fast and knowledgeable. Just ask and you shall receive.

Well , there is hostgator , google host yahoo and godaddy.
But the most recommended and best web host so far is http://www.NetworkJuiceHosting.com ; Network Juice.
They now offer plans starting around $0.99/mo for a great amount of diskspace plus everything else unlimited. Plus they’ve manage to keep up 99% Uptime.
They have all features such as PHP5, java ,Cpanel , Fantastico ( allows you to auto install Blogging systems and CMS portals without wasting time) , Cron Job , Apache ,Unlimited Dadabase , ftp accounts and much more. Basically EVERYTHING! is supported.
There are other affordable plans as well in NetworkJuiceHosting.com.
Hostgator.com is also a great host , but there Uptime time is not so good. Also , customer service is very poor , Not to many features are supported.
Google.com not so sure , But i know there’s lots of files they do not support , no Cpanel , and i don’t know how come , but they have been receiving downtimes lately in their host servers.
yahoo , let me just say it’s the worst web host ever ,you can’t even host the amount of domains you want to host . Including FatCow.com. The downtime is way to much , and many files are un-compatible in fatcow for some reason.
To buy a domain , the most recommended site is godaddy , but not for it’s hosting!! I Tell you !!!.
For a Great Affordable web host with maximum features , the most recommended web host is http://www.NetworkJuiceHosting.com . ; Network Juice Hosting.
You are getting your answers from an expert , and yes I have tried all these web host.
Hope this helps!
That’s all I got to say mate 😉

FatCow, SuperGreen and JustHost should all work great.
You don’t have to use a site builder with them, you can code it yourself.
You didn’t specify what exactly was wrong with them, but they have a pretty standard offer, so all other shared hosts will be very similar.
P.S. Hostgator is the best shared hosting used by 1.8 million websites currently. You can use the domain name you already have with them, and you can even pay monthly to try them out. Actually you can even get it for $0.01 for the first month, and you can cancel any time (no hidden charges).
Here’s how to sign-up with them and even get the $9.94 discount for the first month:
1. Go to http://www.webhostingtable.com and click on Hostgator’s AUTUMN discount coupon
2. Click on Sign Up Now! button.
3. Since you already have a domain name choose the second domain option "I will use My Existing Domain and update My Nameservers only."
4. Enter your existing domain and press next
5. Now the Billing Cycle: Monthly @ $9.95 will be selected
6. In the Coupon: field enter hgc25 and press Calculate Totals >>
7. This will give you a $9.94 discount and your Total Due would be $0.01 (the standard price for the following months will be $9.95)
8. Just press Continue >> and finish up your order
9. Now you just need to change the name servers in your domain’s control panel in order to connect that domain name with Hostgator, but it’s very easy, and Hostgator will guide you in the process. They even have excellent guides for various domain registrars at http://www.hostgator.com/dns.shtml
10. That’s it!
Hope this helps!

Hi,
I would recommend "Web Hosting Pad" because it’s very cheap and reliable. Their support service is awesome. This company offers site building tools, application vault, web mail, antivirus, Php, MysQL ,e-commerce and hosts unlimited websites in one plan. Don’t go for free web hosting. They are not reliable.
