Who else wants to win more selfie contests? Here are 3 little tips to take better selfie, which may win you some great prizes.
Tip #1: Get a good angle
Instead of taking the picture straight-on, experiment with different angles to show off different features.
For example, if you turn your head a few degrees to the right or left, your features will appear less flat. Holding the camera slightly higher than your head so that it’s pointing down on you will make your eyes look bigger.
You can use an extendable self-portrait monopod to get a good angle. It is like the invisible photo taking companion that you always wished you had.
If you need a monopod. Here is a good deal for you that we found. RM38 for a monopod, with free delivery to Peninsular Malaysia.

Tip #2: Put more people to be in the photo
The main requirement of a selfie is that you have to be in it, but there’s no saying that you have to be alone! Grab some friends, siblings, your cat, and other people to take a picture with you.
For obvious reason, you need an extender or monopod for this to work. See above link for special discount.
Tip #3: Edit the photo
With a photo editing software, you can touch up any blemishes or flaws on the selfie before uploading it to a social media account. You can cut out parts of the background, resize the photo so it frames your face differently, change the way the light looks, and so on.
Tip #4: Take Selfie at Unconventional Places
Try taking selfies in unusual places, because the predictable is too mainstream.

Winning More with Your Selfies
It is all about impressing the judges and getting more likes. Be creative. Be different. An awkward looking selfies that you take using only your bare hand will not win you anything. You cannot win contests and photo competitions with your weird angled horrors either. Use a monopod. Use a software. Find interesting background. Put more into your photos. Good luck.
