A affordable website hosting question:
I’m not an expert programmer or designer… Really I’m just an idealist so to speak.
The site I desire to create is going to have a unique theme to it.
I would like to own a site similar to http://vladtv.com. A site where registered members can have their own sub url (Ex: http://mysitename.com/theirusername) and upload original videos and post blog updates daily based on the concept-idea of the main site.
I’m not trying to do the designing and etcetera myself. What are my options? And where can I find an affordable and reliable host for my site? How much do you think I’m looking at investing on this project?

It costs about $60 /year. My recommended service which supports blog and multimedia is available at:

As you may know a domain name is just a name, not a real website/weblog. If you are going to create your blog website: 1- Buy a domain name. A domain name is a name you want to call your website (ex: http://www.yahoo.com). To get a domain name, you have to pay an annual fee to a registrar for the right to use that name. 2- Buy a web hosting service to provide your online space and enable you to get your blog online at your purchased domain name.
If you’re going to start your blog-based website at your own domain with different pages, you need a web host providing wordpress.
Take a look at:

There you can reach the three reputable companies that are leaders in the blog/wordpress website hosting industry.

There you can find a step-by-step guide to start your website.
Hope this helps.
