I dont know anything about what your talking about, all i know is that you should put a watermark with your logo on the picture, so if people save one of your pics, it has a huge obvious watermark stating it isn’t theirs ( the thief )

yea. watermark everything, use scripts to disable rightclicking, or even embed your watermarked images into a flash file. so they cant save them as anything but flashfiles. this would stop most run of the mill thiefs

For an inexpensive way to start up you can go to photo reflect. https://www.photoreflect.com/Default.aspx They give you a nice looking web presence and a shopping cart with no start up costs. They get paid by getting a percentage of your sales. You can also upgrade service at reasonable prices. I use them to sell photos and also keep a separate flash website for marketing, since it’s easier to find on the search engines. I watermark all the photos on my individual site.

there is no technology that can prevent theft 100%
However keeping your pictures small will pretty much deter most theft, the reason is simple, monitors display at 72 pixels per inch. If you keep you pictures small, if someone tries to steal them they will not be able to blow it up without severe pixelated distortion.
Is there ways around this? not really, there are expensive programs ( several hindred dollars) that might do a ok job but certainly not a good job.
Watermarking is another level of pretection, but it is very easy to remove a watermark. There are digital behind the scenes watermarks that are very hard to remove, but neither method prevents theft.
So don’t try to prevent theft, just make the theif miserable. If you have work that you simply cannot have stolen, don’t put it on the internet.
Try a site like Zenfolio.com. You can select what size people can view, whether they can pay to download full size images, and order prints (Zenfolio is a division of Mpix.com and Miller’s Imaging). The full option website for this kind of control is around $100 (or 200, I forget) a year.

If you use a flash website then they can’t right click and save. I bought mine from Bludomain. You can also use Livebooks, but that’s a whole lot more expensive.
