A frequently-asked problem:
I want to create a website but I don’t know how. I don’t want to use google or something. I want it to be mine. Can anyone help?
Answer: This is quite a popular question. Free website hosting is probably not for you if you are serious about having a website. Web hosting is one of the most important part of your business and can mean the life or death to your business.
To answer your query, here are 7 qualities to look for in a good web hosting. An excellent hosting:
- has friendly Live Chat to help you with your query,
- gives unlimited diskspace,
- offers unlimited bandwidth,
- gives multiple add-on domains,
- has easy-to-use Site Builder with thousands of unique templates,
- has QuickInstall to quickly install apps like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, OSCommerce, ZenCart and more
- can be easily upgraded to VPS or one of the best dedicated server plans if and when your business require.
To answer your question, many experienced web developers suggest to try Hostgator. If you need an “unlimited” hosting plan, experts usually highly recommend going with Hostgator because they are the best hosting and domain registrar around.

Hostgator Complaints
No web hosting service is perfect. Some complaints about Hostgator plans include:
- No free domain name included – but you can easily get a domain name from the best domain registrar such as Godaddy or Namecheap for $10 or less. Would you agree that a website is not complete without a domain name?
- You need to pay full price after your first invoice – well, they need to make money too and all the support and great service do come with a cost. It is like they say, you get what you pay for.
If you are still not sure if HG is right for you, or you have specific query about anything at all, try the Live Chat at HG. They are fast and knowledgeable. Just ask and you shall receive.

First, you have to purchase web hosting. Go for an established and reliable web host such as the ones recommended on http://buywebspacetoday.com/recommended-web-hosts/ and sign up for a shared hosting (regular hosting) plan, as it’s the most affordable type of hosting and has all the features you need for a typical website.
Once you get your hosting, go to your control panel and look for Fantastico. Use this tool for a one-click install of WordPress, a content management system that will allow you to create pages, write posts, add links, edit the design, and basically do a lot of stuff to create an awesome website.

Your question is rather interesting.
If you don’t want to use website like web.com or blogspot.com then i suggest you use dreamweaver.
It is software where you can build your own website, using your own designs layout and etc.
To learn how to use this software then i suggest you got youtube.com and type in "how to build a site with Dreamweaver"

the best way is to have your own blog try wordpress and must know even just basic html tags.
WordPress is a free and open source blogging tool and content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL,the best part there is the plugins made by other users that you can download,Wordpress has a user friendly interface and not that hard to learn.

Best is to use Ultimate Web Builder. It is very dynamic and flexible and very easy to use. You can create your own design with it. It has a built-in SEO tool to build traffic to your website and a lot more features, including a photos app to create slideshows and photo galleries, integrated blog, and e-commerce/shopping cart. You can get your domain name and web hosting there too.

There is a certain process of setting up your own website. You don’t need to know all the technicalities to get it, just the following steps.
* Buy a domain name (e.g. yourwebsite.com).
* Rent a server space from a web hosting company.
* Build the website with web software such as WordPress or Joomla (Some web hosting company will do it for you)
* then, you can start filling in the contents such as articles.
Good luck!
