Question about affordable website hosting: I need to make a business website. I want to be able to change it if i have to. It needs to have links to items i put in there to sell. Also a shopping cart that i can sign up for paypal and credit cards sales. I don’t want a shitty free one or anything but not one that is 100$ a month ripoff for the hosting and domain name. I don’t know much about html and websites and i don’t want to become an expert to be able to have my business online. where should i go?

yahoo is 40$ a month with a 1 year contract, 50$ sign up fee and a 1.5% transaction fee!!
to jamesf24. I have plenty of capital for this venture but if you think having enough money means throwing it into the wind then you are wrong. I don’t have accounts set up with suppliers yet but working on it. Also i am full time student and work as well so this business might be slow in the coming….ya heard!

godaddy does not charge me for domain hosting because of all the domain names i buy through them. companies are not going to give you a cheap price if you dont give them a lot of business.

Use Ebay and Paypal….especially since you are not an expert which is a major strike against you. You may want to consider getting help from a webdesigner or you can pretty much be certain your site will fail.
